Our latest commercial conversion project is in the popular south east suburb of Brislington. The commercial unit had sat empty for a number of years and was falling into disrepair. With it’s prominent corner position on the buzzing Sandy Park Road, we could see the potential to create 4 modern apartments which would be perfectly suited to first time buyers.
Work on this commercial conversion began in late October 2024. Our vision was to create modern, comfortable apartments with a high quality finish in a highly convenient urban location.
We used Class MA permitted development rights to change the use of the building from Class E commercial to C3 residential. To speed up the process, we were able to circumvent Bristol City Council and apply directly to the planning inspectorate for the external changes we wanted to make to the building. We needed to create new door openings and windows in order to optimise the dwellings.
We completed the build project in around 18 weeks and the 4 apartments are now on the market. Two bedroom apartment.
